Body materials
Ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel and copper alloys each suit different pressure and corrosion conditions.
Trim materials
Disc, ball, stem and seat-retaining parts require corrosion, wear and galling review.
Soft goods
EPDM, NBR, FKM and PTFE have different media and temperature envelopes.
Documentation
Specify material standards, traceability, certificates and positive material identification when required.
